Kiera and Lauren learn key skills at The Business Store

From school to working can be a daunting thought: especially if you don't know which path you would like to take and you have no experience in a working environment. Having no experience can also make it harder when it comes to applying for full time jobs and careers.

After finishing year 11 in June, Kiera and Lauren chose to spend their school holidays a little differently this year - by joining us twice a week at The Business Store.

Here they were able to gain knowledge and learn key skills in a working environment, which allowed them to gain more confidence and experience new surroundings.

During their time here, they have worked along side our professionals in our various departments. From franking the post to helping with our websites they have been able to experience a range of tasks, which has given them insight to the working world whilst getting more of an idea of their future careers.

We have really enjoyed having Kiera and Lauren here and would also like to congratulate them on the excellent GCSE results they received over the summer.

Thank you for the home made cakes and for all of your help. We all wish you the best of luck at sixth form.

If you too would like to broaden your knowledge, progress and become part of a team, take a look at our current vacancies.
